Bringing back the Pink and Black.

With a new year comes a lot of change, and who better to blast in 2010, than the Hart family?

When you were just a little kid, and you sat and daydreamed about what you wanted to be and where you wanted to go and who you wanted to be there with, it’s hard to imagine that it can actually happen… unless you never stopped dreaming.

Looking back at 2009, I feel fortunate if only one thing was accomplished…The Hart Dynasty was formed. The trio of myself, Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith, is more than just a team, but something that was written in the stars…something that we have worked our whole lives for…and something that was absolutely meant to be.

On Jan 4, it was groundbreaking to see the return of the Hitman to the WWE. Some people thought that it would never happen…and some people never stopped believing that one day it would…

When I watched Bret walk down the ramp, to the most enthusiastic WWE fans, it was pretty crazy, and very emotional. Whether you were a Hitman fan your whole life or someone who has never heard of Bret Hart, there was no denying that something special was happening when he walked through those ropes and made peace with himself. I could see there was a lot of pain in his eyes, and that maybe there’s been a lot of sadness in there for too long.

Everything has come full circle for him. For the first time in 12 years, I think Bret has faced everything that’s ever haunted him… and when Shawn Michaels spoke of their historical Ironman Match, it made me want to watch it again…

After all that had happened between Shawn and Bret, after all those years, I felt a new respect for them both…for putting aside their differences and moving forward. For writing a different ending to what was a very sad story.

As far as Bret making ammends with Vince McMahon, that’s not for me to judge…but it’s clear that maybe some things never change.

So, with the Royal Rumble fast approaching and WrestleMania 26 around the corner, who knows what the future has in store for the Harts and especially the Hart Dynasty…but I see a whole new beginning for us.
